Google Cloud Profiler is a continuous profiling service that samples CPU and memory usage from running applications, whether or not they’re hosted on Google Cloud. It supports common languages (Go, Java, Python, Node.js) via lightweight in-process agents and surfaces results as flame graphs in the Google Cloud console.
It’s a straightforward option for teams already using Google Cloud’s operations suite who want continuous profiling without adopting a separate profiling vendor, though it’s less commonly used as a standalone product outside the GCP ecosystem.
